The Revd David Davies
Priest in Charge
David is the Minister here at Williamtown, Medowie and Mallabula.
David is married to Neridah, and has two grown sons, Craig and Alan.
David loves having a chat over coffee, and yes, if you know of a local coffee shop that he has not yet found, feel free to invite him along for a taste test.
His other main passion is telling people about the great news of Jesus.
The Revd Pauline Grabham
Priest in Local Mission (retired)
Pauline was born in Nottinghamshire, England. She came to Australia aged 18 for a two-year working holiday and loved it so much she never went back.
After working as a secretary, then a full-time mother, in 1975 she auditioned for a children’s television program and spent the next five years as Buttons’ sidekick on “Buttons and Pauline” (NBN). This was followed by a 20-year career as a shopping centre manager.
Pauline is married to Graham and they have two adult children.
Pauline talks about her path to ministry: “Even though my family had no church connection I was drawn to God as a child. I went to various churches until I met my husband, whose mother attended St Philip’s Waratah. I went with her and found a connection with God that I had not known before. I drifted away from church-going as work became more time-consuming. Yet I was always aware that God was nudging me along, speaking to me in my quiet times. Eventually, when we moved to Stockton and began attending St Paul’s, I could not ignore God any more. I spoke to the bishop about my calling and he suggested I study to become a Priest in Local Mission. This began the most intense and exciting time of my life.”
